I Needed Gifts for the Kids so I Gave Them Christmas Hampers

What a unique idea and one that no one else will think of! Giving Christmas Hampers as gifts! A perfect idea for that newlywed couple or that young adult living in their first apartment or dorm!

For the newlywed couple, practical items that they may not have received as wedding gifts, such as tissues, toilet paper, paper towels and bath towels or even items that they may have wanted but didn’t receive, such as an iced tea pot, that perfect coffee maker, etc. could be wrapped and placed into their Christmas Hamper. If they’re expecting their first child, the hamper could include baby items such as newborn diapers, cans of formula, tee shirts and other small items.

If you have a young adult that has just ventured out into their first apartment or dorm, you can add a personal touch to their Christmas Hampers . For the dorm you may want to include soaps, shampoos, toiletries or even some homemade cookies. You could also include stationary if they’re going to be far from home, a prepaid cell phone and minutes or school supplies they may need such as pens, notebooks, etc. You might even be tempted to put a little cash into the Christmas Hampers that you’re making for your college bound kids! For those that are getting set up into their first apartment, you could include any of the above items as well dishes, flatware, perhaps a gift card to a local grocery store or even dish and laundry soaps! Most young adults don’t think about all the small items they take for granted at home so filling the hampers with those small and forgotten items will be much appreciated.
